![]() I downloaded MusicBee once and tried it, but it doesn't (play nicely) under WINE. Now, I run Foobar under WINE, in PCLinuxOS, where it plays very nicely. Updated the executables, and voila, I had my favorite screen layout back. Then, after giving up on configuring an interface I liked, copied over "everything Foobar" from an old backup (Program Files and User/Application Data Foobar folders). I just set up a new(er) computer recently, so I did a fresh Foobar install. Darned if I can remember how I did it, or what layout plug-in I used. A tabbed playlist pane, and a current selection album/track info/cover art pane. Three interactive library search panes: by genre, artist name, and album title. I created a 5-pane screen layout for it years ago (3 computers ago) which I really liked. The Foobar2K interface is highly configurable with add-ons. I always thought of it as austere but functional.
